 International Bachelor of Science

 What is the International Bachelor of Science?

If you are looking at studying within the Faculty of Science and have a strong interest in international issues, the International Bachelor of Science (Honours) might be for you.

An internationally unique program offered in conjunction with the University of Colorado and Dublin City University, the degree offers strong discipline-based training in a selected Science major, integrated with a technological application of science and a strong international perspective.

Entry into this highly competitive program is limited. Candidates must have:

  • An outstanding academic achievement (UAI >93)
  • A strong interest in international issues
  • High performance in Science/Technology at high school.

The intake for this degree is limited to ten students per year. To apply for this program, you must submit an application directly to the Faculty of Science (in addition to applying to UAC). Entry into this program will be based on your application, an interview and your UAI.
