Questions:
What excited you most about coming to uni?
I was really excited about being able to study exactly what I was interested in and being more practical about what I wanted to study. I knew that university study was going to be much more relevant to my future career aspirations. Additionally, I was really looking forward to being more in control of my lifestyle, rather than being at high school.
When did you know that you wanted to come to UOW?
I always knew that I wanted to come to the University of Wollongong. Being from Wollongong originally, I often went on campus for our school swimming carnivals, as well as a Year 10 Science Day. I found everyone to be very friendly and approachable. I also thought the environment and natural surrounds of the uni were great.
What do you like best about Wollongong?
Wollongong is a great combination of a city and country town. The city is really easy to get around and the natural environment is beautiful, which is relevant to my university studies! Wollongong is also so close to Sydney, which is great!
What kind of career might you like to pursue after graduation?
I would love to get in to Environmental Law. I’ve always been interested in this aspect of law and my course at UOW is preparing me well for this!
