UOW Quality Framework - IMPROVE

Quality Improvement Plan

The UOW Quality Improvement Plan is a mechanism for recording and tracking identified institutional quality improvements projects which come under the auspice of the University Planning & Quality Committee. Improvement projects are identified through external audits (e.g. quality audits of the University by AUQA), an annual Academic Risk Assessment, reviews against external references (e.g. the National Protocols) and whole-of-institution benchmarking projects.

“Closing the Loop”- Revised Plans

The quality cycle is closed by the revision and upgrading of indicators targets, strategies, objectives and goals, as appropriate, on an annual (operational plans) or triennial (Strategic Plan) basis.  This process is informed by the outcomes of review processes and Quality Improvement Plan projects.  It seeks to ensure the University’s plans and practices remain true to their purpose and reflect contemporary standards for performance and academic achievement.
