Reviews against Plans

Each year the University evaluates its performance against the objectives in each of the goal areas in the UOW Strategic Plan. The relevant committees and steering groups monitor performance through annual review and reporting.

Review reports are considered annually by the University Planning and Quality Committee which, in turn, presents a comprehensive annual report of progress against the Strategic Plan to Academic Senate and the University Council.

This institutional review process is informed by annual reviews by:

1. faculties and professional units against their own plans; and
2. major committees, against their terms of reference and action schedules.

Reviews of Plans

UOW’s Strategic Plan is revised every three years by the University Planning and Quality Committee. Revised plans are presented to Academic Senate and the University Council.

A major review of the current University Strategic Plan was undertaken during 2007, with the UOW 2008-10 Strategic Plan to be implemented in 2008.
