The Strategic Planning & Quality Office (SPQ) is a central UOW unit whose mission is to provide the necessary planning and quality frameworks for the ongoing development of the University, by:

1. facilitating the University's strategic and associated high-level planning activities
2. supporting UOW quality improvement
3. providing support on special projects as required by the University Executive

SPQ reports to the DVC (Academic), Professor Rob Castle.
