Professional Activities
John is a lecturer in the Faculty and teaches both at the undergraduate level and in the Faculty's Legal Practice Unit.

John was admitted to practice in 1989 and until 2002 worked as a solicitor in the area of litigation, Family Law in particular. He became a Law Society of NSW Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 1999. John also worked for a time as an Industrial Advocate with the NSW Coal Association and for several years was a volunteer solicitor with the Illawarra Legal Centre.
