POLICY ANALYSIS
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Policy analysis is less a method than an approach to research. It is relevant to interdisciplinary research in law because it deals with similar practical issues. The practical purpose of research is discussed at Purposes, where there is reference to some key readings from the field of policy analysis.
Christopher Enright deals with the formal relations between law and policy in chapter 12 of Studying Law. You may also consider the more informal and political relations discussed by Stephen Bottomley and Stephen Parker in chapter 8 ('Access to Law Making') of their text book Law in Context (2nd ed. Sydney: Federation Press, 1994).
Marie Danziger relates questions of policy to interpretation and the political context of research in her article 'Policy Analysis Postmodernized'.
