Steven Greer, Human Rights in Europe: Achievements, Problems and Prospects, focuses on the European Convention on Human Rights, while also looking at the national and EU dimensions of human rights.

Carl Stychin, 'Flying the Flag (for You)': The Politics of Citizenship and the Eurovision Song Contest, uses the Eurovision Song Contest as a way of thinking about European citizenship and belonging, and the different ways in which sexuality and race seem to be incorporated into a European legal and cultural imaginary.

The title is from the 1989 English translation of Hans Magnus Enzensberger’s insightful book originally published in German (1987) as Ach Europa!
