Professional Legal Training Course

Staff

The Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice program is built upon many years of staff expertise in the fields of law, legal practice and legal education. Each member of our academic staff has extensive legal and academic experience and is committed to excellence in teaching and research. Our academic staff are drawn from the worlds of legal practice and education, bringing a vital balance of theory and practice to your learning.

The permanent academic staff are supplemented by members of the legal profession and by others, who attend to teach and facilitate skills development in their specific areas of expertise. Visiting practitioners include judges, barristers, accredited specialist solicitors, legal administrators, and professionals from other disciplines. Students are encouraged to utilise the expertise of the full-time and visiting staff members to their best advantage.

Student-focused approach to learning ensures that members of staff are accessible by email and telephone to all students and are available on campus for regular consultation.
