Junior Mooting

If you have never mooted in a competition before and would like to compete in the Junior Moot, then make sure you register ASAP!

Your LSS is working with PASS to provide some mooting workshops prior to the competition.

Entering the Junior Moot is a great way to learn how to moot! The competition is open to all first time mooters.

Registrations and questions to Anthony Connor.

Heroes & Villains Pub Crawl
...a huge success!

With a sell-out bus and dressed in style, we sampled several watering holes between Bulli and Wollongong!

Thanks to UniBar... your bar! for sponsoring the best dressed prizes with tickets to End of Session Party

Thanks also to HOTEL ILLAWARRA for enabling us to include a free drink on arrival for all pub crawl patrons!

Finally, thanks must also go to McDonalds Woonona for the 55 free cheeseburgers and for putting up with a bus load of heroes and villains!

General Meeting

The LSS is holding a General Meeting this Monday 1st September at 5.30pm in 67.302.

At the meeting we will be considering some proposed amendments to the Constitution. The major proposed change is a reduction in the committee size, with a view to sub-committees and/or project groups being utilised. The number of office-bearers will remain unchanged; it is only proposed that the number of ordinary members of the committee be reduced (in line with models seen at other similar sized LSS's / LSA's). Further details can be found on the LSS website.
