The LSS and the Faculty of Law will be sending competitors down to Tasmania to compete in the National ALSA Championships. Want to go? Show us your talent! We suggest you register for our negotiation competition and our senior mooting competition straight away! Details can be found elsewhere in this newsletter.

On the topic of opportunities... there are two new scholarships available to UOW students which we think should check out. If you are eligible, we encourage you to consider applying! More info available on the scholarships info page.

Finally, we would like to remind you of the research and referencing help service provided by the Law Librarian. Individual consultations are available for students and staff on Tuesdays from 10.30am-12.30pm in 67.235 (next door to your LSS!)

Faculty to Sponsor Best Competitors to attend National Championships in Tasmania this July

The Faculty will be providing sponsorship to help seven of our best competitors to the ALSA Championships. We anticipate on sending two mooters, two negotiators, two witness examiners and two client interviewers (one LSS sponsored). Competitors will be sponsored at $1000 each.

The ALSA Championships will be held in Tasmania this July. To be considered, you need to demonstrate a sound ability in one of the above fields (and winning our competitions is a very good way to do this!)
