Dr Richard Mohr is Co-Director of the Legal
Intersections Research Centre (LIRC) which bears responsibility
for the activities of the Centre for Court Policy and Administration.
He is a sociologist with a background in public sector management
and research consultancy in a range of legal, evaluation and
policy fields.
Emeritus Professor Helen Gamble was the
former Director of the Centre for Court Policy and Administration.
She was previously the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Chair
of the Law Reform Commission of NSW. Professor Gamble has done
extensive research, training and teaching in court policy issues
in Australia and the United States. She continues to support
the Faculty's work in areas of court policy and administration
among other areas.
Professor Lindsay Curtis (1928-2000) established the Centre
with Professor Gamble and served as a Professorial Fellow until
his death. He was President of the ACT Administrative Appeals
Tribunal and was previously Deputy Secretary of the Commonwealth
Attorney General's Department, with responsibilities in court
administration.
