Court House

This site contains principles, standards and benchmarks which can be used by courts to review the quality of their client services.

The principles are derived from those developed by the US National Center for State Courts (NCSC) Trial Court Performance Standards. These principles have already been used by courts in many jurisdictions as a basis for management planning. The five principles are listed at the left of each web page, giving access to the standards and benchmarks.

The standards and benchmarks were developed for use by Local Courts (summary first instance courts) in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW).

TO START: Click on any of the principles at the top left of the page.
