Selvie Sinaga

Bachelor of Laws (Gadjah Mada University – Indonesia)
Master of Laws (Monash University)

Selvie commenced her PhD research at CLDSAP in February 2008. She is working on a study, which analyses the legal impact of theTRIPS Agreement to small and medium businesses in Indonesia since the agreement was fully implemented in the country in 2001. She has an LLM degree in Internet and Electronic Laws from Monash University and a Bachelor of Laws degree in International Law from Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia.

Selvie holds a permanent position as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia in Jakarta. During her academic career, she has been actively publishing works in the areas of Intellectual Property and International Law at the national and international level.  She was awarded the Australian Development Scholarship twice in 2001 and 2007 for pursuing her degrees at Monash University and the University of Wollongong.
