NEW LLB ELECTIVE TO BE OFFERED SPRING 2009

STS 310 Future Tense: Governing Technoscience

Arrangements have been made for STS 310 Future Tense: Governing Technoscience to be counted as an LLB elective from Spring 2009.  This subject currently shows as a 6 credit point subject.  If students undertake this subject they will be given 2 credit points of unspecified credit to the LLB degree.

You can find the subject description and objectives via the subject database at

https://sols.uow.edu.au/owa/sid/CAL.USER_SUBJECTINFO_SCREEN?p_faccde=11&p_depabb=ELPL&p_subcode=STS%20310&p_cal_subject_id=78927&p_year=2009&p_cal_type=U&p_cal_types=UP

Please note: BA/LLB combined degree students the same rule applies to approved STS subjects as for SOC subjects that count as an LLB elective: you may only count such subject/s to one side of your degree (Arts OR LLB), not both and you will have to elect which program Arts or Law it counts to and make up the credit points to the other program.
