First Year LLB Program 2008
Students undertaking the first year of the LLB (4 year) course, the LLB (Graduate) course, or one of the combined LLB courses in 2008, will be assigned to one of ten groups of classes. Each group will consist of approximately 25 students. The timetable has been organized in such a way that you will be with the same group of students for seminars in each of your subjects. This means that you are not required (nor permitted) to chose individual subject seminar slots from the timetable. You will be allocated to one of the ten groups, and will attend seminars in accordance with the timetable for your group. (For those subjects which have a lecture all students will attend at the same time.)
You will be invited to indicate which of the groups you would prefer to be in. The timetable and Group Preference sheet can be downloaded from the Faculty Notice Board on the Law Website (http://www.uow.edu.au/law/UOW041219.html) from Monday, 4 February 2008. However, there is no guarantee that you will be allocated to your preferred group. You should be prepared to be on campus in accordance with any of the ten timetables.
Preference sheet are to be returned to the Faculty of Law by Monday 11 February 2008. You will be advised of your seminar group at the Faculty of Law Orientation Session on Wednesday, 20 February 2008.
Once you have filled out this preference sheet, you should hand it in to the Faculty of Law Administration Office located in the McKinnon Building (67), room 239.

During the university session, permission to attend a seminar other than your own, on a ‘one off’ basis, must be sought in advance from the relevant subject coordinator.
