Elizabeth is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law and First Year Co-ordinator in the LLB programs. With qualifications in law, sociology and education, she has had significant involvement in Faculty teaching and learning initiatives. Elizabeth 's principal teaching responsibility at present is Foundations of Law A. Her interest in legal education is reflected in her recent textbook which integrates traditional introductory knowledge about legal institutions and processes with skills exercises and a contextual and critical approach to the law. In addition to her interest in legal education, Elizabeth has conducted research into the operation of administrative tribunals. Her current research interest is in the emerging field of animal law. She is proposing to teach animal law as an elective subject at Wollongong in 2007 or 2008
