Windows XP
The following download is only required if you
do NOT have XP SP2. Save the file below
to your machine and then install it by following the
User guide
for XP setup.
Please note: If you are running a non-English
version of windows XP, go to the international microsoft
support page (http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx)
and select the appropriate country. Then use the microsoft
website search box (top left) to do a search on "826942".
The result will be a link to the appropraite XP patch
for your language.
Windows 2000
Due to the University's wireless security policy, a
WPA-compliant wireless client (what's
this?) is required to connect a Windows 2000 computer
to the UOW Wireless Network.
Mac OS X
For instructions
on setting up the required software on your Mac for
the AirPort and AirPort Extreme cards please read the
User guide [pdf -
588kb].
Other Drivers
For WPA compliant drivers please refer to the Supported
Hardware page or the manufacturers website.
