Required Software & Patches

Windows Vista

Windows XP (Older than XP SP2)
The following download is only required if you do NOT have at least XP SP2.
Visit the Microsoft website, save the file to your machine and then install it by following the User guide for XP setup.
Please note: If you are running a non-English version of windows XP, go to the international microsoft support page (http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx) and select the appropriate country.
Use the microsoft website search box (top left) to do a search on "826942" - The result will be a link to the appropriate XP patch for your language.
Windows 2000
Due to the University's wireless security policy, a WPA-compliant wireless client is required to connect a Windows 2000 computer to the UOW Wireless Network.
