IT Training for Staff and Postgraduate Students

ITS offers a comprehensive IT staff training program, with courses available to all academic and general staff (full-time, part-time and casual) as well as postgraduate students of the University of Wollongong.

Most course content is based on our supported applications and caters for computer users of all levels, from the complete novice through to the more experienced user. Short courses which target specific functions of applications have recently been introduced and individual tuition is available for staff by appointment.

Most courses are held in our staff training lab located on the top floor of Building 17 with a maximum of 10 participants at each course. Each person has the sole use of a computer throughout the course and user guides are provided at every course. Userguides are written in-house so that they are relevant to the UOW campus environment.

ITS Training can also work with your staff to facilitate special training courses to target specific functions of applications that are of particular relevance to your Faculty or Unit.
