Telecommunications

The University of Wollongong's fully digital telecommunications network is enhanced by a comprehensive array of telecommunications services. As stated in the University's Telephone Policy, other devices may NOT be connected to the University's telecommunications network without permission from the Director of ITS [email].

The standard telephone provided to University staff for University business is the Interquartz telephone. The Meridian telephone is available for issue to Deans, Directors, Heads of Department or equivalent, Senior Executives and personal assistants to the above. Other staff who feel they may have a business need for the Meridian telephone can apply to the Director of ITS [email] for approval.
