If you forget your username and/or password, or if your password expires, you will need to make a request in person at an authorised centre to have your password reset - you will need to bring your identification card with you.
NOTE: It is not possible to do this via telephone or email

User Account Management for Staff & Students
- In order to utilise the IT facilities at the University of Wollongong, students, staff and associates of the University are assigned a User Account - read more.
In order to protect the University's information and transactions, passwords on user accounts must be changed every 150 days.
Prior to your password expiring, you will be notified via email.
Please be aware that once changed, it will normally take around 20 minutes for the new password to be active.
In order to avoid the above inconvenience, the Password Reset Challenge was developed to allow University of Wollongong email account holders to reset their passwords without needing to make a request in person at an authorised centre.
It is suggested that you take the time to set up your Password Reset Challenge now.
