About Prepaid Print & Copy

Overview	UOW “IT Shared Services” delivers printing services to the UOW community to meet the specific printing needs of the University staff, students and associates. Through our “Prepaid Print” system we provide a consistent print and copy experience for all students and casual users regardless of campus or location on campus. See print / copy locations.
Available To	Students and print/copy casual card holders
Benefits	The “Prepaid Print” Print model delivers a consistent print and copy experience at a reasonable cost to all UOW students regardless of campus or location on campus. UOW student cards are preconfigured to link to a Print/Copy account which is secured by a pin number. Students have the facility to apply dollar credits to their account online via Paypal or using the cashiers or EFTPOS kiosks located within at the Library on the University main campus. Visitor Access is available via a Casual Print / Copy card.
Key Features	Convenient access to the prepaid print fleet at a reasonable cost to students using their UOW Student card, and for visitors and the community via a casual print/copy card A self help interface for managing individual print/copy accounts including view and print receipts for credit transactions, online crediting via Paypal and resetting pins Submitted print jobs can be released on any printer on the “Prepaid Print” service. Print jobs are released at the selected printer by swipe card (student or casual card) and the associated Print and Copy account is debited accordingly Copy services at any photocopier in the fleet with copy capabilities by swipe card (student or casual card) and the associated Print and Copy account is debited accordingly with a debit to the associated Print and Copy account for the cost of the copy job B&W and colour print and copy (see locations) A4 and A3 page sizes for print and copy Dedicated devices available for premium colour matching The facility to upload print jobs from a personal computer via a easy to use website (coming soon)
Requirements	Printing on the “Prepaid Print” service requires an encoded student card or casual card linked to a print/copy account with credited funds. Further information on is available under Getting started.
Cost	Students have the facility to apply dollar credits via cashiers, EFTPOS and Paypal and have access to a fleet of photocopiers and printers at a consistent and reasonable cost. More detailed information on costs as they apply to B&W, Colour, A4 & A3 and premium colour matching is available under manage your print and copy account.
Getting Started	Access to the prepaid printing is via a UOW student card or a casual card for non uow students. Once the card is linked to a Print/Copy Account dollar credits can be applied by Paypal or via cashiers (for the Library) , EFTPOS and Paypal and have access to a fleet of photocopiers and printers at a consistent and reasonable cost.
