Accounts

All members of the University community have access to a UOW User Account. This gives you access to the various IT services available as well as your personal information stored in your "UOW Account Profile". Some of the services include email, SOLS mail for students and the intranet for staff. Your UOW User Account also allows you to login and change or reset your password, check your internet quota and access the UOW wireless network.

YOUR Password

Managing your Password In order to protect the University's information and transactions, passwords on user accounts must be changed every 150 days.

Prior to your password expiring, you will be notified via email.


If you forget your username and/or password, or if your password expires, you will need to make a request in person at an authorised centre to have your password reset - you will need to bring your identification card with you.

Your Internet Quota

Managing your Internet Quota Internet access is available to all holders of an active UOW account and is accessible at all of our campuses. For students, a quota system is in place to allow the efficient management of internet use.
