UOW Wireless Network

The University provides wireless internet access to the Wollongong Campus and its remote campuses. The University is currently undergoing a network refresh which includes the upgrade of the wireless infrastructure which will utilise new wireless LAN’s (WLAN) for better connectivity. • A safe, convenient and high speed wireless network
• Supported wireless standard is: 802.11a/g/n

• To access the network you will need a laptop, mobile phone or other handheld device which is capable to make a wireless connection.
• An active UOW User Account

• Students: if your allocated internet quota allowance has been exhausted, you can apply for extra quota to connect to the UOW Wireless Network or connect through your own personal provider.
