Voice Services

Overview

The University of Wollongong's fully digital telecommunication network is enhanced by a comprehensive array of telecommunications services. ITS manages the telecommunications requirements of UOW and supports the various services available to the UOW community. The University has just completed a staged upgrade to VoIP which offers an improved integration with the desktop environment.  The UOW prefix number system is a comprehensive telephone network with four different in-dial ranges in the Wollongong area, two in-dial ranges in the Sydney area and one in the Nowra area.  As this can make determining your correct number difficult, please view our page on UOW prefix numbers.
