Faculty Vision:
That the Faculty of Informatics be recognised as a national and international centre of excellence for teaching and research in the information and communication technologies.
Faculty Mission:
To provide the highest quality education to graduates who will take leadership roles in the information and communication technologies; including Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science and Software Engineering, Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering, and Mathematics and Applied Statistics.
To advance knowledge and be recognised nationally and internationally for our research, development and innovation in the broad discipline of information and communication technology - Mathematical, Statistical and Computer Modelling; Information Technology and Telecommunications; Industrial Automation and Power Systems; Visual and Audio Communication; Business Services Science; and Information Security.
To maintain and expand strong links between the University, community, industry and other Universities, both locally and internationally.
