Building 3 is open weekdays between the hours of 7:30am and 9:00pm.

Student labs are open weekdays 7:30am to 10:00pm.

Due to continued breaches of after-hours’ access privileges, the following policy applies:

1. Students entering the building after hours, ie after 9:00pm, or who occupy the building after permissible hours, ie between 10:00pm and 7:30am on weekdays and at any time on weekends, must have a valid Proximity Card and appropriate student card identification. These must be presented on request to appropriate authorities (Faculty staff and University Security).
2. Students who do not have a valid Proximity Card and who enter or occupy the building after hours, or any of the labs which required Proximity access, may be permanently denied the privilege of applying for after-hours’ access.
   They will also have their accounts disabled for a week.
3. Students sharing Proximity Cards or assisting other students who do not have appropriate permission to enter or occupy the building or labs after hours may lose their rights to after-hours’ access permanently. They will also have their accounts disabled for a week.

Appropriate personnel may ask for proof of after-hours’ access which must be presented immediately. This may include requesting that Proximity Cards are swiped and appropriate student identification produced.

Note: If breaches continue, after-hours’ access to the building will be reduced or curtailed.
