Early Entry

The University of Wollongong recognises that the UAI is not the only indication of a student's aptitude to excel in studying at the University level.

The Early Entry program allows current Year 12 students to apply for early acceptance into a number of course offered within the Faculty of Informatics and is based on the student's trial HSC results, résumé/portfolio and an interview.

Applicants must register to participate in the Early Entry program. Interviews are scheduled to take place on Monday 29 September, 2008 in the University Hall (building 11) commencing at 9:00am.

Interviews for electrical, computer and telecommunications engineering courses can take place at a time individually arranged (for these courses only, select the 'Earlier Date' option on the on-line registration form should you wish an earlier interview).

Points to UOW is a program where by additional admission points are awarded to students for their performance in HSC subjects that are relevant to the knowledge required to undertake specific undergraduate programs at UOW. Click here to see the list of Bonus Points.

Applicants will also be offered a guided tour of the campus and will have the opportunity to discuss their areas of interest with academic advisers and may have the opportunity to meet the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics. Interview times allocated by the registration system will be preceded by a mandatory Dean's Presentation.
