Postgraduate Student Funding Information
HDR students are entitled to funding to support their research activities including conference attendance, specialised software, scholarly books, small equipment and training courses.
Full Time HDR Students can apply for a maximum of $1000.00 per year of funding from the school for research support, up to a maximum of $3,000 per candidature.
Part Time HDR Students can apply for $500.00 per year of funding from the school for research support, up to a maximum of $1,500 per candidature.
A special case needs to be made to the Head of School for any carryover of funding.
Conference Travel
Students must submit an initial application for travel form (see below) to the SISAT school office at least two weeks before the conference registration is due. You must wait for your application to be approved by the Head of School and the Dean before any payments of conference registration or travel are made.
