Placement Opportunities for Students
The Faculty of Informatics has strong links with the ICT industry and uses these links to ensure its programs are relevant and its graduates are market-ready on completion of their degrees. These strong relationships afford Informatics’ students the opportunity to participate in work placements throughout their degrees.
Current placement opportunities are listed HERE.
If you wish to apply for any of these opportunities, then email your resume or CV and contact details to Nerida Margrie, Professional Officer, Placements in the Faculty of Informatics.
The degrees of Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Business Information Systems require students to complete between eight and 12 weeks of work placement to gain industry experience and complete their studies. Students from these degrees may utilise the placement opportunities listed on these pages (if relevant), or organise their own placements according to the requirements of the School of Electrical Computer & Telecommunications Engineering, the School of Computer Science & Software Engineering or the School of Information Systems & Technology.
For further information about Faculty of Informatics’ placement opportunities, please email Nerida Margrie, Professional Officer, Placements or contact her on 4221 5075.
