The details:

The School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering (SECTE) has a number of old monitors, computers, oscilloscopes and some other miscellaneous equipment for sale. The sale will take place in building 35, room 136 (Control Lab) on Wednesday 7/04/10between 8:30am to 11:30am. Purchases must be paid for by 2:00pm on the day. Equipment can be collected from 10:00am onwards.

The equipment are sold on an "as is where is" basis, buyer beware, and there is no warranty or any follow up support. Purchasing is on a first come first served basis. Equipment cannot be reserved prior to the sale. Computers and their monitors are sold together and cannot be separated. Computers are sold without an Operating System.

When a successful purchase has been made, payments will be made at the Student enquiry centre in building 3 AFTER 9AM. Payment can be made by EFTPOS and credit card only; no cash, money orders or cheques will be accepted. Computers can be collected once payment is confirmed and must be collected before 2:00pm on Wednesday 7/04/10. 

All equipment can be inspected in operating condition on Tuesday the 06/04/10 between the hours of 10:00am - 1pm

SECTE reserve the right to limit the quantity of items sold to any one person .

SECTE reserve the right to vary conditions of the sale including the number of computers for sale and their specifications.
