Scholarships for Undergraduate Students

2008-9 Summer Holidays Research Scholarship

At least 12 Summer Vacation Research Scholarships are offered across the Faculty of Informatics each year to high caliber undergraduate students. Application forms are usually available from each School office from early to mid October each year.

The aim of the scheme is to provide students with an opportunity to engage in and gain experience in research in an area of interest and to evaluate for themselves, and demonstrate to others, their potential for research work. In addition, the scheme provides students with exposure to the research excellence of the University.

Students receive $300 per week (paid in fortnightly installments) for 10 weeks.
