Membership

The membership of the SECTE School Committee includes one (1) student representative from each year of study and a postgraduate student representative.

These representative positions last for 12 months, commencing 1 May each year and expiring 30 April the following year.

Role Profile

The role of the student representative is to attend meetings of the School Committee, and actively seek student comments in order to provide student feedback (if any) on the items listed in the agenda for that specific Committee meeting.

This is a rewarding role, exposing students to corporate governance procedures, rules of meetings, familiarisation with agendas and minutes, and a closer relationship with the School’s academic staff. Student representatives have a profile placed on the School website that will enable them to be contacted by the student body.
