Name: Samantha Curtis

Email Address: informatics_fac_stud_rep@uow.edu.au
Degree: Information and Communication Technology
Describe Yourself: Everyone calls me Sam. I’m in the forth year of my degree, so not long to go now. I’ve spent a lot of my holidays travelling overseas. Very friendly so feel free to come and chat if you have any questions about informatics education.
How you see your role on the Committee: I joined the committee as a student representative to gain a better understanding of how the faculty contributes to the governing and academic policies of a larger organisation. I see my role as educational and I’m hoping being a member will allow me to feel I am part of the faculty, have a role in the body that continues to improve and refine all aspects of student experience.
