Celebrating Research Dinner
The Faculty of Informatics has a strong research culture, one that is built from the success of our work across a number of streams recognised by the University as Research Strengths.
These strengths provide the focus for attracting world class scholars and talented, highly motivated research students.
The Celebrating Research dinner which was held on 24 August 2011, was a celebration of the Faculty's research achievements and an encouragement to all students who were invited to participate more actively in the research arena.
The Dean, Prof Philip Ogunbona was joined by key staff members in acknowledging and congratulating the following groups of students on the evening:
- 2010 Dean's Merit
- Dean's Scholars
- Scholarship recipients
- Honours Students
- HDR Students
- HDR Graduands
- Student Representatives
