About In2Uni

The In2Uni Program is a collaboration between the University of Wollongong and the Department of Education and Communities (DEC NSW), Illawarra and South East Region to enable students to access, participate and succeed in higher education. The program is offered to primary and high schools on the low socio economic status (SES) national partnership and Priority Action Schools Programs (PSP). The program is operated by UOW in the hope that it would enable students to access, participate and succeed in higher education.

Our Vision:

The In2Uni Program aims to:

  • Build aspirations for tertiary education and beyond by allowing students to explore possibilities and opportunities at the University of Wollongong
  • Build capacity in students to succeed in their educational and life goals
  • Foster enthusiasm for learning through interesting project based, curriculum linked activities
  • Engage students through enriching on site University experiences
  • Be a collaborative model which includes the views of parents and community stakeholders
  • Continually improve based on feedback from program participants and stakeholders

Delivered by classroom teachers, Year 6 students explore University life and Careers!
Academic Mentoring Program
These programs will be offered to low SES, PSP and some regional high schools. Students will engage in interesting project based and curriculum linked activities.

In2Uni Online 

In2Uni Online is an online interactive resource available to all students that will enhance the curriculum and build academic capacity in students. In2Uni Online will also provide outreach to rural/remote High School students.
