Add to your experience through community involvement and engagement with primary and high school students. As an In2Uni Mentor, you will work in a diverse UOW student team to raise awareness of, and increase aspiration for, higher education with local school students.
What is the In2Uni program?
In2Uni is a collaboration between the Department of Education and Communities (DEC NSW), Illawarra & South East Region, Catholic Education Office and the University of Wollongong (UOW). The program is offered to selected primary and high schools, and individual students, with the aim of raising student awareness of, and aspiration towards, higher education.

The successful applicants will be employed in a casual position within the Regional Campuses and Student Diversity unit. There are positions available each year at the Batemans Bay, Bega, Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands and Wollongong Campuses.
Students must ensure they meet the following criteria outlined in the position descriptions below.
In2Uni Mentors will use their highly developed understanding and knowledge of subject content to deliver our University Preparation Program, support our Summer Master Class program, and assist with other In2Uni mentoring programs.
Mentors are expected to provide tutoring and mentoring to small groups of year 12 school students, to assist in their preparation and academic performance in the HSC or IB. The role also involves discussing post-high school study options with students, and providing support with navigating the application process for UAC and UOW Early Admissions.
