Non-teaching Computer Rooms

the School maintains three computer rooms for the use of students outside of formal classes and tutorials. All computers require a login name and password for brain, which can be obtained from technical support staff.

In all cases IBM PC systems have Windows 95 installed, and access to the Schoolal student server, BRAIN, is provided.

4th Year Computer Room (41.G35)
This room is available to 4th year postgraduates and students enroled in the honours programme. There aresix (6) pentium PCs with Windows 95, with SPSS v9, Microsoft Office 97, eudora (e-mail), telnet and Netscape installed.

Access to this room is by PIN access at the door. To obtain a PIN for the alarm please see Ms. Lisa Czubala

Research Postgraduate Computer Room
This lab contains five (5) pentium PCs with equivalent software to the 4th year computer lab.

Access to this room requires a key and a PIN for the alarm system. Please contact Ms. Lisa Czubala for an alarm code and Ms Kathy Wilson for a key request.
