[December 2005] Student Award winners from ASP2005

  • ASP2005 was held in Wollongong from December 9-12 2005.
  • Congratulations to Megan Hobbs for her award "Best platform presentation by an Honours student"
  • Congratulations to Sue Thomas for her award "Best poster presentation by a PhD student". Prizes of $250 were supplied by ADInstruments.

[December 2002] More student awards for our lab members

  • Recent award winners from the 12th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Psychophysiology, held in Sydney NSW on Nov 29 - 3 December 2002 were:
    • Dale Chiswick won the Best Oral presentation by an Honours Student
    • Colleen Respondek won Best Poster presentation by an Honours Student
    • Janette Smith got an Honourable Mention in the Best Oral presentation by a PhD Student category
    • Robert Battisti got an Honourable Mention in the Best Oral presentation by an Honours Student category

[December 2001] Another Student Award

  • Honours student Janette Smith was recently awarded the prize for BEST HONOURS PRESENTATION at the 11th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Psychophysiology, held in Newcastle NSW on 2-4 December 2001. Janette is starting her PhD research in the department in 2002. Keep up the good work Janette!

[December 2000] Student Award

  • Hilarie Tardif, a PhD student in the department, was recently awarded the prize for BEST PHD PRESENTATION at the 10th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Psychophysiology. Hilarie also won this award as an Honours student two years ago, and is the first person to win both prizes. Well done Hilarie!
