The research method for this study...

What will you do?

At the pre-training assessment session, kids will have their EEG recorded using a simple comfortable device, which is just like wearing a set of headphones. We also ask you to complete a few simple computer tasks to assess attention. Parents also complete questionnaires about their child’s behaviour. The same thing happens at the post-training assessment session, after your 4 weeks of at-home training is complete.

Where & When?

You can come to the university for assessment sessions 1 and 2, or we can come to your home. Either way, we'll provide a written report on your child’s level of general cognitive functioning and spelling ability administered by trained psychologists. Your child will receive the training and a certificate of participation.

We provide and install the training software onto your own Windows-based computer.
