Referrals to Northfields Psychology Clinic

Members of the public may contact the Clinic directly to make an appointment. Health professionals or organisations providing health care, case management, or educational services may also make referrals.

To make referrals to the Clinic, contact the Clinic Manager on 4221 3747. Alternatively, complete the Referral Form and forward it to the Clinic at the address provided on the form:

Referred clients are placed on a waiting list, and will be contacted as soon as possible.

Referred clients will be contacted via phone by either the Clinic Manager who will obtain further information about the client’s presenting problems and psychiatric history. This information is used to determine whether the Northfields Psychology Clinic is the most suitable agency for each individual case. If not, advice on a more suitable agency will be provided.

If the Clinic appears to be the most suitable agency, the client will be assigned to an available intern psychologist as soon as possible. Depending on individual circumstances, clients requiring more urgent psychological assistance may be given priority for available therapists.

Referrals to our group programs can be made by contacting the clinic direct by telephone or email.
