How do I get paid?

Once your Casual Academic Authority has been processed you can lodge pay claims for hours worked in WebKiosk which provides you with 24hr, 7 day electronic access to your payroll information.

When you log into WebKiosk you will be asked for your "Employer Number" and a "Password".

Your "Employer Number" remains the same throughout your employment at UOW.  If you are a new employee your number is found on the "Casual Authority" copy that has been returned to you.

If you are a first time user your "Password" is "yoursurname1" (e.g. smith1). Please ensure you change your password once you have entered WebKiosk.

All Casual Academic Staff are responsible for the lodgement of their own timesheets and checking for rejections/payments. You must ensure that your timesheet is completed correctly (ie. correct rates, hours and dates) and is lodged by the cut off date to avoid delays in receiving your pay. Timesheets are rejected if incorrect. Note: Please do not use the ‘Repeat Timesheet’ option.

Beryl Schafe will approve your online timesheets each fortnight by comparing the timesheet with the Casual Academic Timesheet Approval Form supplied with your Casual Academic Authority. You can view the status of your claims at any time in the ‘Existing Timesheets’ screen. Approved timesheets will no longer appear in the ‘submitted’ screen. If a timesheet has been rejected it will appear in the ‘reject’ screen. You should check the ‘Comments’ section at the bottom of the timesheet. If it is a simple change you can modify and then resubmit. If the timesheet requires many changes it is best to delete the rejected timesheet and submit a new one.
