BEXS402 Exercise for Special Populations
Research Interests
- Clinical Exercise Physiology and the effect of exercise interventions on physical performance, activity and quality of life in the elderly and individuals with pathology.
- Novel exercise testing protocols and training interventions that improve physiological parameters in individuals with cardiovascular and pulmonary disease.
- Previous work also includes the metabolic effects of dietary subtype interventions, particularly omega-3 fatty acids and resistant starch.
