Student Online Services (SOLS)
In addition to being the gateway to your eLearning subjects, SOLS enables you to self manage your enrolment at the University of Wollongong.
SOLS also provides students with access to SOLS Mail. The University uses SOLS Mail for all official communications with students. Don't confuse your SOLS Mail with email. They are not the same and they work in very different ways. You must check your SOLS Mail at least once per week. Failure to so this may result in you missing out on important information. Online help using SOLS is available.
For example, your SOLS account enables you to:
- Manage your enrolment
- Receive important messages from University staff
- Log onto your eLearning Space Subjects
- Manage University fees
- Apply to Graduate
- Keep your personal details current
- Apply for special consideration
- Check your assignment and final results
How do I access SOLS?
For first time users:
- Access your SOLS account by clicking the Current Students link on the UOW home page and then
- Under the SOLS logon, click Logon Help and on the following page click "I Need the Student ID & barcode logon"
- Enter your student number, barcode (shown on your student ID card) and date of birth (eg: if your date of birth is 15 July 1978 enter 150778)
For previous users:
- Access your SOLS account by clicking the Current Students link on the UOW home page and then
- Enter your username and password and click LOGON
You will be periodically prompted to change your SOLS password for security reasons. It is vital that you do this in order to stay connected to your account. Not having access to your SOLS account because of poor password maintenance may render you unable to submit assignments on time and you will not receive academic consideration for this.
