OHS Postgraduate Programs

OHS Research

Our OHS research programme commenced in June 2011 with the inaugural Safety Equipment Australia Pty Ltd Research Scholarship. This scholarship funds a Master of Science Research student to investigate the re-breathing of expired carbon dioxide in respirators.

Staff from the OHS Academic Programme are co researchers in a hydration study of underground coal miners funded by the Illawarra Health Medical Research Institute)and lead researcher in a project to investigate the ergonomic issues of patients opening packaged food in hospitals.

Prospective students wishing to undertake research in OHS should contact Associate Professor Brian Davies to discuss potential opportunities.
