These courses are taught in block format and do not follow the standard Autumn and Spring timetables.  As a result student timetabling may vary.

Master of Science Occupational Health & Safety

The Master of Science Occupational Health & Safety provides an intensive professional program of study in the area of OH&S with the opportunity to develop a specialisation in either Occupational and Environmental Health or OH&S and also allows students to develop research skills related to professional practice in OH&S.

Accreditation: the MSc(OHS) is accredited with the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (UK).

Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety

The Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety course provides an entry point for students who are unable meet the requirements for direct entry to the Masters degree. The course is designed to permit students to transfer to the Master of Science Occupational Health & Safety provided a credit average is maintained.

Accreditation: the GCert(OHS) is accredited with the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (UK).

Applicants who hold a degree that doesn’t meet the criteria for direct entry to the Masters of OHS may be accepted for entry to the Graduate Certificate of OHS. Applicants who hold a Certificate IV in OHS or equivalent, plus two years of relevant work experience in an OHS related area, will also be considered.

Master of Science Occupational Hygiene Practice

The Master of Science Occupational Hygiene Practice programme is for those who want to pursue a career in Occupational Hygiene. Applicants with a Bachelor degree with at least one year of science subjects or a credit average in the Graduate Certificate in Occupational Hygiene Practice may apply.

Accreditation: the MSc(OHP) is accredited by the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienist and the British Occupational Hygiene Society.

Graduate Certificate in Occupational Hygiene Practice

The Graduate Certificate program has been designed as an entry course for those who may not have an undergraduate degree but have relevant work experience and have completed a “Fundamentals in Occupational Hygiene” course offered by an acceptable professional society or equivalent. The program is designed so that students may progress from the Graduate Certificate through to the Masters degree, provided a credit average is maintained throughout the Graduate Certificate.

Accreditation; the GCertOHP is accredited with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienist and the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
