Library Services
Locate items not held in the Library
The UOW Library does not subscribe to every item listed in the databases. Therefore, you may not be able to access the full text of all references you find. Searching other university library catalogues can be helpful in determining the usefulness of other collections. The UOW Library can also provide you with resources held in other University Libraries; this service is called Document Delivery.
Document Delivery
If you are currently living in Australia
Postgraduate students may request books, and articles not held at the UOW Library using the Document Delivery Service see "Submit Requests"
It is also possible to Search Other Libraries from the Library Catalogue to access the collections of other University Libraries.
If you are currently living Overseas
Document Delivery service is available to postgraduate students offshore. Click on Journal articles or Chapters, conference papers under the heading "Submit Requests" on the Document Delivery page.
- You can only request articles and chapters
- Be sure to state "OFFSHORE" in the "Additional information" field on each request form
Reciprocal Borrowing
You are eligible to borrow from other university libraries. This service is only available to students and staff residing in Australia. Please read the information on our web page Borrowing from other libraries.
