Accepting Your Offer
Once your application has been processed, if you are successful, you will receive a letter of offer which you will be required to respond to in one of three ways:
- Accept your offer if you would like to start studying and are able to commence on the date selected in your application.
- Defer you offer if you would like to start studying but are unable to commence on the date selected in your application. You are able to defer your offer for up to one year. Extensions after this time may require you to reapply.
- Decline your offer if you have changed your mind and no longer wish to study or are unable to commence within 12 months of your offer.
Respond to your letter of offer following the appropriate link.
It is important to note that OHS and OHP programmes do not follow the same schedule as other courses offered at UOW so please check the enrolment cut off dates for your application to ensure you enrol on time.
Please note: if you are an international student you may receive special instructions on how to accept your offer. It is important that you follow any specific instructions given.
OHS Academic Programme Coordinator
New students must contact the OHS Academic Programme Coordinator immediately they receive their letter of offer and before they attempt to enrol in any subjects. The Academic Programme Coordinator's contact details are as follows:

Accreditation
The Master of Science OHS (MScOHS) and Graduate Certificate OHS are accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) in the United Kingdom. There is no equivalent accreditation scheme currently available in Australia.
The MSc Occupational Hygiene Practice degree is accredited by the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) and the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
