Welcome

The School of Health Sciences encompasses two dynamic academic units, Nutrition & Public Health and Exercise & Human Biosciences. Both units offer major teaching and research programs in a diverse range of health-related discipline areas, underpinned by sound science.

Features of the Nutrition & Public Health Unit academic program are Health Sciences, Dietetics, Nutrition, Population Health and graduate studies in Public Health. The Exercise & Human Biosciences Unit boasts study opportunities in the areas of Exercise Science, Exercise Science and Rehabilitation, Medical Science, and graduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety. Postgraduate research opportunities in both units are also available through Master of Science (Research) and PhD programs.

Our programs allow students to choose between profession-specific knowledge and skills, or a more broadly based University education, focussing on human health.
