Student Support Adviser

The Student Support Adviser for the Faculty of Health & Behavioural Sciences is Jenny Walsh.

Jenny provides support, liaison, information, referral and assistance to UoW students, as well as provision of programs supporting student equity and diversity both within the faculty and across campus. She is available to help in a number of areas including:

  • Student Welfare for International and Domestic students
  • Provision of equity information
  • Transition programs for International Students
  • EdStart (grants for financially disadvantaged students)
  • Liaison for the University’s Disability Service
  • Liaison for other Student Services and referral to services such as Counselling, Learning Development, and Careers services, etc.
  • Liaison with the Academic Registrar’s Division and other areas of the University
  • Liaison with external agencies
  • An emergency point of contact and for ongoing information and support for students at risk and students involved in critical incidents Student Support Advisers can also liaise on your behalf about issues of concern.
